NHS Portrait Series
A notable project of mine is my free NHS Portrait Series, highlighting the diligent and attentive work from NHS staff during the pandemic. Each portrait in the series takes anywhere from 50 to over 200 hours to complete, and consists of thousands of dots in a pointillism style. The portrait series is currently being exhibited at my solo show, Gobaith/Hope, a exhibition in Singleton Hospital from the 16th of March 2022 debuting the full collection of portraits

Meet the Artist
Amy is a Welsh artist and illustrator, specializing in a dotwork style. Being late diagnosed Autistic and ADHD, she has channeled her lived experience into hand drawn art, from hyper realistic portraits to humorous stickers.
Based in Wales and inspired by nature, memory, and neurodivergence, her work is both a personal ritual and a shared spell; made slowly, thoughtfully, and sustainably.
I am so pleased with my new business logos! I now have everything I need to have cohesive branding across my digital and print marketing. I would happily recommend AJ Illustration to others.
